Milling is among the most energy-consuming technological stages of copper ore processing. It performed in mills, which are machines high rotational masses. The start a mill filled to capacity requires appropriate solutions that mitigate overloading. One method for increasing energy efficiency ball mills optimize their drive systems. This article looks at two variants systems with efficiencies higher than already existing solutions. first variant low-speed synchronous motor permanent magnets without gearbox, and second an asynchronous high-efficiency gearbox fluid coupling. performance analysis three was based on average consumption indicator per mass unit milled material hour. investigations required models analyses use Monte Carlo methods. highest observed case solution magnet motor.
